Team looking pretty good.. as long as we are disciplined, hard hitting, and solid offence, we have a chance. glad to see hamhuis torres ballard (i used to hate him) and malholtra part of the nucks.

We had a great chance against chicago. Especially with those crazy ass saves by Luongo.. but he was so inconsistent he was definitely a reason why we lost. but not the WHOLE reason. The sedins didn't even show up for the series (daniel took WAY too many penalties) and our defense was utterly shit. I fucking hate alberts- please stay away from the western conference. Salo was o-kay, but damn that guy has gotten everyfucking injury known to mankind. Even though he was in game 6, he could barely keep up!! Bieksa saved us, then lost it for us. god.

Where the hell was burrows and kesler?? I mean, I could see burrows was definitely trying HARD.. too bad his efforts weren't seen except for some empty netters. and that DUMB penalty he took in game 3/4 (i don't remember which one). UGH. I was definitely impressed with Wellwood and Raymond though. Good for them for producing SOME efforts for canucks.

Lu also will need to give up the C. I think Kesler should have it.. because I think he can be a good leader like Toews has for Blackhawks and even Crosby for Penguins. We need his grit and passion to motivate the whole team.

I used to be very much pro-Demitra. I thought there was a lot of potential especially with the way he played for slovakia.. but MY GOD. All he does is fucking PASS and get too pretty with the puck.. FUCKING SHOOT!!! we need for shooters!!!! SOOO sick of watching the effing powerplays and all we do is pass around.

So, I think we need to get rid of demitra, salo, and mitchell.. I think raycroft will also be gone.. but that's fine, we'll find another minor backup somewhere. I think we need some big name defenseman. I can't think of one atm, but someone like lidstrom or neidermeyer (obv not them). I also think we need a coach change. I was never a huge AV fan. we need a change in our play!!! I wonder if samuelsson will come back, I sure hope so!!!!!

Now that they are gone, I am cheering on chicago.. because there's a chance I'll see the parade :) if they win.

Glad to have Bieksa back but hoping Salo and mitchell to come back as well. Alberts is a piece of shit. I can't stand him. Funny how he scored two goals and I think they were both deflections off a random player's foot in front of the net, it's not even him. Starting to think Edler is overrated.. he takes penalties and makes horrible mistakes. I hope he proves me wrong.

LA vs Canucks. Shit I am actually a little nervous about this one. LA never was a contender but 1) we don't play well against them for some awful reason and 2) Drew Doughty and Dustin Brown.
I was hoping to play against detroit. but I guess being stanley cup champions means beating ANY team.

canucks have had quite a ride already. but I think we are slowly gaining our confidence back. When we first got Mats Sundin, I actually had questionable thoughts.. because he IS a good player, but he's pretty old and hadn't played for a couple months.. what if he is a letdown like messier was for us years ago?? At the beginning, he had to adjust and took a bunch of gay penalties but I really think he's beginning to find his groove. He's been contributing A LOT to the canucks and I am sooo glad.

Kesler and Burrows are amazing together. I hope they are the future of canucks because they are just sooo freaking good.

The only player that is letting me down is Sami Salo.. Even though I really liked him couple seasons ago, I think we can get someone way better, and injury free than he is..

nonis was fired mike gills is the new gm. I don't kno how to feel about it. I am glad they fired nonis because I personally don't really like him as GM. The only thing I was happy about was the Luongo trade.. the rest.. eh. especially when nothing happened at trade deadline cept mike pettinger. but gills? He's a former agent.. san jose won over calgary. this was such a weird one for me because I wanted to root for calgary (I like Lombardi and Iginla is one of the best and san jose always win against canucks) but I always became happy when san jose scored. I guess I hate calgary too much.

the season's over and obv it was a super disappointing one. especially when we had such high hopes and all the chances in the world to win the cup. The team.. just fell apart at the end.. there was no desperation or dream to win the cup.
Tonight's game was crappy but the ovation for Linden was amazing. Iginla, as much as I try to hate him, is amazing. Not only is he a talented player, he's a class act. He probably is the best player in the NHL at the moment.
There's a lot of iffy players that are most likely leaving the team. I really really want Cowan gone. Another one I wouldn't mind leaving is Naslund. Ya, he is super talented and all class and blahblahbalhb, but honestly.. he's not bringing anything to the team. I really love Naslund, but we need a better leader.

I want Burrows, KESLER (the new linden in my eyes), Bourdon, Mitchell (captain next year?), Sedins (ok bad season but they are pretty good when they are on game), Pettinger (I didn't mind him), Pyatt (getting better), Ohlund, Morrison (I have a soft spot for him. he scores some pretty amazing goals too) to stay..

We need some SCORING PLAYERS . UGH. COME ON NONIS!!!
